  1. We are a luxury accredited university residence during the normal university calendar and will be a Res again from the 1st Feb 2025 – Nov 2025
  2. Our Student Hotel concept (open to students / ex-student’s & under 30 year old’s – now if you wish for Dec 2024 & Jan 2025)
  3. If you stay with us you are also welcome to apply as a ‘normal student’ for Feb 2025 onwards if you wish
  4. We are on all major transport routes and 10min from the beach/seafront by Uber or taxi.
  5. We have a Spar grocery store 50m, right across the road from our building entrance (super convenient for you)
  6. We have modern high tech fully fitted kitchens for you to cook that are homely and can store frozen and cold foods if you wish to self-cater during the holidays.
  7. Our building is within walking distance of some of Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha’s most popular night spots (so need to worry about transport when you want to enjoy a night out) You can come and go as you please there is no curfew times associated with a normal student Res
  8. We provide free Unlimited high-speed WIFI, in the building right through the holidays
  9. We have a games area (includes unlimited free pool table and fuze ball open 24/7)
  10. We have a great outdoor tented entertainment area, for relaxation and meeting up with friends
  11. There is an outdoor Fire Pit to braai and socialise as well as an Astro turf Soccer and Netball area
  12. Free washing facilities and washing laundromat facilities are provided (at no charge, included in your stay)
  13. There is a Roof top clubhouse with a sea view and DSTV for your entertainment and friends
  14. A mini gym at our building, which is included for free when you stay with us
  15. All electricity and water is obviously included in your stay
  16. We have a community of 82 beds in the Student Hotel. 40 of these beds are in sharing rooms (a max of 2 students will occupy a sharing room)
  17. All sharing rooms have dividers for maximum privacy, see the video again if you wish to watch at this link Watch Stutel Video, and unless otherwise requested (we only cater for same gender students / young traveler’s in a sharing room)
  18. All our beds are extra wide single beds – with soft mattresses for maximum comfort
  19. We have bathrooms with private showers & private toilet facilities on each floor for your privacy, piece of mind and convenience
  20. We provide all the furniture you need for good living, including beds, cupboards, fridges, microwaves, hot plates etc. but you must bring your own bed linen and cutlery for cooking/eating
  21. We are expecting demand to be high so we will give preference to people who want to book for the whole of Dec and Jan
